NEW HOST SITE FOR ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES

Lakeview  Baptist Church in Gore is a new host site for Angel Food Ministries.  Angel Food Ministries is a program which provides quality food at an economical price.

Orders are taken the first Saturday of each month at Lakeview Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Payments must be made when placing your order.  The cost if $30 per box.  The box contains fresh meats, vegetables and fruits which may be canned or frozen, and various staple items.  What kinds of meat and items change each month, you receive a variety instead of the same thing month to month.  Special Boxes are available for purchase each month for a price range of $22 to $28.

There are no special requirements to participate in the program.  Anyone may participate and there are no limits to the amount you can purchase.  We accept payment by cash, check, or food stamps.

Rest assured the food received is not out dated and the amount of food you receive from the $30 box will feed approximately a family of four for a week or a single person for a month.

Delivery day is usually the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the same place you placed your order Lakeview Baptist Church.  We are located on Hwy. 10A in Gore, one mile west of the Fin and Feather Resort.  Any unclaimed boxes not picked up on the date of delivery will be donated to families in need.  For more information please contact our program coordinator Vickie Reininger at (918) 487-9876.
